Went to Marquee for the first time ever this past Saturday. I had tickets to watch a music artist named Kashmir. The venue was pretty cool. It wasn't too big nor was it too small. The staff seemed rather polite and chill, which is always a plus at a nightclub or venue. For non-drinkers like myself, it was great to see they carried 00 Heineken, which I ordered alongside a ginger ale. The bartender was great, he didn't even charge me for the latter. Most of the crowd here seemed respectful and well-behaved, aside from a few entitled folks who think they can simple push their way to the front. For the city, I think this venue is pretty darn good. With tickets, the line was super quick and the pat down was a breeze. Will def come back for another show.
I was here to see Bob Sinclair on a Saturday night, there was a line that was well managed no BS, the club has a very good sound system and lights, as a disabled person, I asked if it was possible to get a seat, the manager came to me and was super polite and friendly, he found me a seat and checked in to see I was ok, I never used the toilets so I won't comment on that, the staff were very polite and helpful, from the bouncers to too the bar staff. The crowd was mostly young people with a few older people, I would not hesitate to recommend Marquee, they do a great job.
It's always fun coming to this club from the great vibes of the people to the amazing bottle service not to mention that unbelievable performances by the top artist such as Busta Rhymes always coming out here if you're looking to bust the move and let loose
We ended up having a great time, I was weary because of the reviews and we are from out of town, so I thought we were screwed - but seriously such nice bouncer and bar tenders! We had a great time! We talked to a lot of the staff and none were rude, they were great! It is crowded and bar can be hard to dance but the upstairs bar is better! We danced downstairs and then went up to get drinks, it was faster and less crowded! If I was local we would totally come back!!!
